Powder Horn Outfitters runs guided hunts for trophy elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, and antelope across private ranches in the Big Horn Mountains region near Sheridan, Wyoming. The operation is built on the principle that proper land management combined with experienced guides creates the best opportunity for successful trophy harvests.

Hunting packages cover: - 5 or 6 full days of guided hunting - Food and cabin accommodations - Transportation of meat and mounts to processing plant or taxidermist - Two hunters per guide (1-on-1 hunts available for $1,000 extra) - Meet-up in Sheridan to start your hunt

Early & Mid-Season Mule Deer – Hunts in the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains

Late Season Whitetail – Rut action on abundant private ranch populations

Antelope – Vast private ranches with strong animal populations

Elk Hunting – The specialty, with properly managed herds on controlled land

• •Rifle (.243 caliber or larger, sighted to 300 yards)
• •Hunting boots (waterproof, leather—two pairs recommended for varying conditions)
• •Fluorescent clothing (required)
• •Warm layers appropriate to season and terrain
• •Hunter safety card (required if born after 1965)

Not included in hunt fee: - Non-resident hunting license - Airfare and Sheridan lodging on arrival - Meat processing or taxidermist services
