Hunting deep in the Washakie Wilderness on horseback for days is what they do. The elk camps book three to four years in advance because hunters know the success rates.
Elk is their most popular hunt and what many clients win awards for. They offer three different seasons:
Bighorn Sheep Hunts - 10-day total (1 day travel, 8 full hunting days) - Hunt areas one through five - Spike camps with experienced guide, wrangler/cook, tents - Physically demanding but worth it
Bear Hunts - Spring archery (April 15–30) and spring rifle (May 1–June 15) - Fall hunts available, can combine with elk hunt (+$500) - 7-day hunts from wilderness camp - Sight and stalk method only (baiting prohibited)
Moose & Mountain Goat - Available by special request
They also offer fishing trips to the best lakes and rivers in Washakie and Bridger-Teton Wilderness.
All traveling and hunting are done on horseback. This lets them cover more ground in the backcountry, across rivers, and to areas other hunters can't reach.
