Full description and what we offer

G4 Outfitters guides hunters across some of northeast Wyoming's best private land, focusing on archery and rifle elk, mule deer, antelope, spring bear, and lion. Licensed outfitter #BG-118, owner Quint Gonzales has been guiding for over 20 years, and his team brings serious experience to every hunt.

  • Archery Elk - The specialty. 1 on 1 guide-to-hunter ratio on private land in the southern Bighorn Mountains. Hunters consistently encounter multiple bull opportunities.
  • Rifle Elk - 2 to 1 guide ratio. Hunts split between the Bighorn Mountains and cedar hills southwest of Buffalo.
  • Mule Deer - Mostly on their home place east of Buffalo. 4-day hunts with 2 to 1 guide ratio. Trophy bucks taken consistently each season.
  • Antelope - 4-day hunts on their home place. Living and working the land gives G4 an edge knowing animal patterns.
  • Combo Hunts - Deer/Elk or Deer/Antelope combinations. Morning and evening deer hunts, afternoon antelope glassing. Or hunt both a trophy bull and trophy deer on the same trip.
  • Spring Bear & Lion - Guided hunts with access to fly fishing at the lodge.

100% success rate on rifle hunts. Archery elk hunters experience close to 100% encounter opportunities with bulls 300+ inches.

They know the country—seriously know it. Quint and his guides live on the land they hunt. That translates to understanding animal patterns, water sources, and how to move through the terrain effectively. Low guide-to-hunter ratios mean you're not competing with other hunters for attention.

Hunters consistently report encounters with trophy bulls, bucks, and bears. The camp atmosphere is built around hospitality and making hunters feel like they belong there—multiple testimonials mention the food, camaraderie, and guides who turn a hunt into a friendship.

G4 takes hunters of all experience levels, including hunters with disabilities. One legally blind hunter took a 7x7 bull on an archery hunt and praised their knowledge of the country and ability to navigate it.
