Antelope population management: Wyoming Professional Hunters manages a disproportionate number of trophy bucks with nearly 1-to-1 buck-to-doe ratios on most ranches. This allows immature bucks to reach full maturity and horn growth potential.
Mule Deer quality: Minimal annual harvest of trophy and management bucks keeps the herd genetics and antler quality well above average.
High license draw odds: Most areas enjoy 100% drawing success outside the elk zone. Antelope and deer licenses are typically available over the counter on their private land, and hunters can even purchase second trophy buck licenses.
No more worrying about not drawing a tag during season. Most antelope and deer tags are available over-the-counter in Wyoming Professional Hunters' areas.
Your guide picks you up at Casper or Rapid City airport and drives you to the ranch. After settling in and a hearty dinner, the next morning starts with breakfast before heading out. If hunting from a ground blind (typical for archery antelope), your guide delivers you with snacks, lunch, and cold drinks. Antelope often begin appearing immediately, with peak activity around midday.
Guides check in roughly every 1.5 to 2 hours, glassing from a distant ridge. You signal with a fluorescent flag if you need them or harvest an animal. After a successful harvest, the guide handles photos, field dressing, and meat care back at camp. Evenings include hearty meals and rest for the next day.
