Full description and what we offer
Wyoming Skullworks has been cleaning and preparing hunting trophies for display since 2018. Owner Hannah Summers—a lifetime outdoorsperson, hunter, and competitive archer based in Cheyenne—holds a valid taxidermist license from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.
The difference is in the process. While many services promise weekend turnarounds, Wyoming Skullworks refuses to rush. Their beetles clean skulls efficiently in 24 hours or less, but the real work comes next: a 30+ day low-temperature degreasing bath that safely removes all grease without breaking down calcium or weakening bone.
"Many skull cleaning services will boil and/or pressure wash skulls to speed up this process. Unfortunately, skulls which have been boiled end up brittle and degrade over time. Skulls which have been power washed lose the many intricate cartilage details that make a trophy interesting."
Wyoming Skullworks guarantees your skull never touches boiling water or high-pressure water. The result: a trophy without damage that stays as white as the day you receive it back.
All European mounts are cleaned using dermestid beetles, degreased, whitened, and sealed with matte or gloss clear coat.
