The Cheyenne Rifle & Pistol Club operates as a non-profit 501(c)(7) corporation dedicated to shooting sports, firearms training, and hunter education. CRPC offers multiple NRA Marksmanship Qualification Programs that emphasize "practice with a purpose"—you compete against yourself and the target, not other shooters:
This 2-day instructor-led course (Saturday-Sunday, 8am-5pm with lunch break) covers: - Safe gun handling and handgun mechanics (revolver vs. semi-automatic) - Proper aiming, shooting positions, and marksmanship techniques - Handgun selection, maintenance, cleaning, and storage - Legal aspects of self-defense and shoot/don't shoot scenarios - Shooting qualification: approximately 150-200 rounds fired
Eligibility & Cost: - Satisfies concealed carry permit requirements in Wyoming, Colorado, and many other states - Designed for both new and experienced shooters - One-to-one instructor-to-student ratio on the range - $75 for CRPC members, $100 for non-members, $50 for educators - Club provides loaner firearms available upon request - No .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, 5.7×28, .357 Sig, or 17HMR ammunition allowed

Held the last weekend in January at the indoor range. The 2025 show runs: - Saturday, January 31: 8am-5pm - Sunday, February 1: 9am-3pm

Orientations held January, March, June, and September. New members receive club history briefing, range rules training, facility tour, and membership card.
