Western Wyoming Riflemans Association

Western Wyoming Rifleman's Association operates the Coal Canyon Shooting Sports Facility on 140 leased acres south of Star Valley. The facility has a 300 yard plus rifle range with a firing line shelter, concrete floor and 8 shooting benches, two 40 yard pistol bays, a 50 yard IPSC/IDPA bay, a 50 yard .22 Long Rifle bay with its own firing line shelter, and a law enforcement bay. A combined trap and skeet pad has a trap house with a machine that throws singles, doubles and wobbles, plus skeet high and low houses.

WWRA is a Wyoming nonprofit corporation. Ground broke on the range in 2010. The club runs training and small arms competitions with the National Rifle Association and supports the Wyoming State Shooting Association, with an emphasis on youth involvement.
