Full description and what we offer
Alaska Rifle Club is a premier competitive shooting organization affiliated with the National Rifle Association, the Civilian Marksmanship Program, and Precision Rifle Series Rimfire. Open to shooters of all skill levels and backgrounds, the club promotes organized competitive marksmanship through diverse match formats and sanctioned events.
The club sponsors a comprehensive range of shooting disciplines:
Alaska Rifle Club hosts matches at multiple venues across the Anchorage area and beyond:
Membership is open to all without regard to age, race, color, creed, or religion. Annual dues are $30 for adults and $15 for juniors, with one-day memberships available for $5. While NRA membership is recommended, it is not required to join the club. Members receive match announcements, CMP news, and group purchase opportunities. Club membership also satisfies CMP requirements for purchasing surplus firearms like M1 Garands.
The club welcomes shooters with all levels of experience. Equipment doesn't need to be specialized—many matches can be shot with firearms participants already own. For those without equipment, the club offers rifles available to borrow for match participation.
