3D Shootout 2025 - Sunrise Park Resort

The Sunrise 3D Archery Shootout has become the region's go-to tournament, attracting 1,000+ archers annually to Sunrise Park Resort in Greer, Arizona. July 3-5, 2025 marks the 38th year, offering serious competition, casual fun shoots, and major prizes.

Two distinct pathways let archers choose their experience:

• •Competitive Shoot – A two-day tournament at Cyclone Base with multiple divisions:
• •Pee-Wee (8 & under), Cub (9-12), Youth (13-17)
• •Adult and Senior/Masters divisions (50-59, 60+)
• •Specialized classes: Traditional, Bowhunter Release, Bowhunter Open, Known Open, Money Shoot
• •Awards: Trophies and buckles for top finishers; all Pee-Wee participants receive awards
• •Shooting times: 8:30am Friday/Saturday for adults; 12:30pm for youth

• •Fun Shoot – Casual courses with no pressure:
• •1 family-friendly walking course (10 targets)
• •1 child-friendly walking course (10 targets)
• •4 lift-accessed extreme courses, ages 18+ (10 targets each)
• •4 lift-accessed fun courses (15 targets each)
• •4 walking fun courses (15 targets each)
• •Shoot up to 4 courses daily; purchase additional registrations for more
• •Hours: 8am–6pm daily; courses clear by 6pm

The event features 16 total courses across the mountain, with lift access included for qualifying shoots. Lift rides run 9am–4pm during the event.

Raffles include a $27,500 bull elk hunt on the White Mountain Apache Tribe reservation (winner must pass background check and complete AZ Hunter Safety Course). Additional prizes from Delta McKenzie Targets, Easton Arrows, and vendor sponsors.

Registration Deadlines: - Competitive online: Sunday, June 29th - Competitive on-site: Through 3:30pm Thursday, July 3rd - Fun shoot on-site: Through noon Saturday, July 5th

Add fun courses for $20 (pre-registration) or $25 (on-site).

Families can enjoy scenic lift rides, the Apache Alpine Coaster, tubing, zip lining, rock climbing, and more. July 4th stays open until 8pm with sunset lift rides, live music, and activities (no fireworks due to fire danger). The recently remodeled Sunrise Park Lodge offers rooms, dining, pool, hot tub, and fitness center.

Vendor spaces available outdoors at Sunrise Base. Sponsorship tiers start at $100 (course sponsorship) and $300 (scorecard sponsorship—only 4 available, reaching 1,000–1,500 participants).
