Douglas Rifle & Pistol Club

Ben Avery Shooting Facility serves as the primary range for the Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association, hosting organized matches and training programs throughout the year.

The facility supports multiple shooting disciplines:

• •Smallbore Division: Junior programs running weekly (6–8 PM) plus Civil Air Patrol marksmanship instruction
• •Cast Bullet Division: 22 BPCR matches, benchrest competitions, and Schuetzen rifle events (centerfire and rimfire)
• •Signature Events: The Washington's Birthday Match—a historical, patriotic competition and 2nd Amendment social event held annually in February

Programs target everyone from juniors in structured training to experienced competitors. The ASRPA Junior Smallbore Program accepts students starting at 6 PM with no later than 6 PM arrival. Civil Air Patrol runs parallel marksmanship training. Cast bullet shooters have dedicated benchrest and silhouette ranges.
