Full description and what we offer
Break the Barriers hosts the BTB & NFAA 1 Arrow 3D National Championship—the largest archery tournament of its kind in the world. The event spans 300 acres with 85 life-size 3D targets designed in collaboration with Delta McKenzie, creating a tournament experience that draws archers from across the globe.
The championship features multiple NFAA divisions:
NEW for 2026: Barrier Breaker Division, Hoyt Cam Awards, and belt buckles for all divisions.
The event uses a shotgun start—everyone begins at the same time to improve flow and reduce the day's duration. Saturday competition starts at 9:00 AM, Sunday at 8:00 AM. Electronic scoring is available for NFAA members and guests. Target assignments are first-come, first-serve and issued by NFAA; groups sign up together and targets are not held.
Break the Barriers operates as a non-profit organization running 25 inclusive programs. Tournament proceeds directly support their free archery program, which has enrolled over 4,000 veterans. The event exists to raise awareness for all ability levels in archery—disability is no barrier to competition or community.
Friant, CA 93626
Registration opens online and closes April 7, 2026 for the April 18-19 tournament. Groups should register together to secure starting targets.
Mitchell Foundation, Delta McKenzie, HOYT Archery, Zeiss, DAV, Victory, Spider Archery, STAN, The Spot Archery, Quality Machinery Center, and Axcel Sights.
