Discount Gun Mart operates shooting ranges at two locations: San Diego on Morena Boulevard and Santee on North Magnolia Avenue. Both are equipped for serious shooters with modern automatic target returns, digital distance readout, state-of-the-art ventilation, and lighting on target carriers.
The Morena Blvd location is San Diego's largest gun range and gun store complex, with 18 total lanes split across two ranges: - Pistol & Shotgun Range: 8 lanes - Rifle, Pistol & Shotgun Range: 10 lanes
Both ranges handle standard and magnum pistol calibers, high-powered rifles up to .30-06, and shotguns. The facility includes a brand new 3,300+ square foot Training and Events Center with an exclusive Members Lounge for Patriot and Freedom level members.

The Santee location features a newly remodeled 10-position indoor range with automatic target returns, turning targets, digital distance readout, and modern ventilation and lighting. Equipment specs match the San Diego range—all standard and magnum pistol calibers, rifles to .30-06, shotguns allowed.

DGM offers extensive training including:
- •CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) Training - California and Arizona compliant courses held at the San Diego location. As of January 1, 2024, California SB2 increased training hour requirements:
- •Initial applicants: 16 hours (or 8 hours if application submitted before 12/31/2023)
- •Renewal applicants: 8 hours
Options include live interactive classroom, Zoom attendance, e-learning, and shooting qualification only sessions.
- •Handgun Skills Series - Six-course progression covering fundamentals, holsters, presentation, tactical reloading, stoppages, and adverse lighting ($125 each).
- •Specialized Courses:
- •Introduction to Firearms ($125)
- •AR-15 Fundamentals, 2-day class ($250)
- •Gun Retention & Gun Disarm Workshop ($100)
- •BSIS Security Guard training including exposed firearms qualification ($200) and classroom refresher ($50)
