Hawk's Archery is Andy Young's operation—he's a certified archery instructor and bow technician who focuses on one thing: making you better at what you do and love.

Andy handles custom arrow building with complete tuning and squaring, laser-verified bow tuning, and archery instruction for all ages. His testimonials speak for themselves. One customer—a veterinarian—credits Andy's instruction and bow work with helping him take a lion in Africa with a single shot. Hawk's Archery partners with 5 Dogs Shooting Range, located at 20238 Woody Road in Bakersfield (about 23 miles northwest of town). The archery range is open Friday through Monday, 8 am to 6 pm. You can shoot 20 to 100 yards on standard bag targets, or use the dedicated 3D lane with targets at 20-70 yards set on the mountainside—bring a laser rangefinder for those.

Andy runs regular closeout sales at cost or below cost with no sales tax. Recent inventory has included releases, quivers, broadheads, arrow building materials, arrow jigs, peep sights and tubing, rests, predator decoys, camouflage blinds, bow fishing gear, nocks, wind detection smoke, arrow lube, arrow pullers, stabilizers, Ripcord and QAD repair kits.
