Kiwi's Custom Guns operates a 25-yard shooting range with five lanes capable of handling any caliber handgun or rifle up to .50 BMG. Each lane is equipped with Action Target's Defender Stall system featuring brass deflectors and muzzle blast barriers, tactical cart tables with shelves, and the Genesis Smart target retrieval system with wireless carriers and touchscreen control.
The facility maintains year-round comfort through a recirculation ventilation system that uses 75% recycled air and 25% fresh air, both passing through dual-stage bag and HEPA filtration for safe, enhanced shooting.
Kiwi's offers structured courses and one-on-one instruction:

Private instruction is customizable for first-time shooters through experienced shooters wanting to develop new skills. Sessions start with an assessment of your experience level and goals, ending with knowledge you can use to coach yourself. You'll need a firearm (rentals available), 50-70 factory-loaded rounds, and eye/ear protection.
Owner & Lead Instructor: Lyndon Yates brings 25+ years of gunsmithing experience, 15 years in law enforcement, and 8 years as a U.S. Army infantryman. He holds CA POST instructor certifications in handgun, urban rifle operator, and low light employment, plus advanced certifications in tactical carbine, tactical shotgun, and precision rifle.
Children ages 10+ can shoot with a parent or guardian present at all times. A separate waiver is required for each minor.
Members can reserve lanes up to two weeks in advance online. Non-members may walk in based on availability. CCW permit holders: Keep your carry gun concealed and notify range staff upon check-in with your valid permit.
Beyond the range, Kiwi's offers gunsmithing services and a retail shop. The store handles FFL transfers, intra-familial transfers, law enforcement releases, and ammunition transfers.
