Modesto Rifle Club

Founded December 23, 1946, Modesto Rifle Club operates as a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation dedicated to promoting safe firearms handling and competitive marksmanship in the Central Valley.

MRC is a private membership club — not a public range. Members get regular range access and can participate in all scheduled matches and events. Non-members can attend specific competitions and events with prior approval from the event director.

MRC offers Stop the Bleed training courses for members and guests. They emphasize the core safety fundamentals:

• •ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot
• •ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use
• •ALWAYS know your target and what is beyond

Membership wait list is currently closed. However, non-members can participate in scheduled events with permission from the designated event director. All non-members must sign a liability waiver before participating (pre-printable forms available on their website).
