Liberty Archery manufactures the Liberty I compound bow—a radically compact hunting bow that defies conventional bow design. At under 2 feet from top to bottom with a 20.5" axle-to-axle measurement, it attaches to a backpack. Yet this micro bow punches above its weight class.

• •This is not a compromise bow. The Liberty I shoots as fast as conventional bows despite its size. Dave Barnsdale, 2005 Vegas Tournament winner, shot a perfect 300 (NAFF) with a Liberty I. Most bow manufacturers cut corners with modular cams. Liberty went the opposite direction: 22 completely redesigned cams—one for every half-inch of draw length. This eliminates the accuracy compromises that come with one-size-fits-all cam design. The large cams also deliver an unexpected benefit: extreme leverage that crushes holding weight while maintaining speed.

Liberty manufactures its own arrows and sells them at $159/dozen. These are not standard arrows.
