LionHeart Academy

LionHeart Academy operates a 6,000 sq ft multi-purpose facility featuring a 20-meter indoor archery range and state-of-the-art fencing equipment. Located at 1331 N. Cuyamaca St in El Cajon, it's East San Diego County's only dedicated indoor archery venue.

Archery instruction focuses on focus, balance, and self-control. Instructors cover sport safety, self-discipline, respect for others, and the physics and math behind shooting. The facility runs:

• •Intro to Archery classes for beginners (single sessions to 10-packs)
• •Competitive/Adult Archery (90-minute sessions)
• •Junior Olympic Archery Development programs
• •Private lessons with certified coaches
• •Summer camps and birthday parties
• •Indoor league competitions (fall/winter seasons)

Students start shooting on day one with traditional recurve bows. All equipment is provided by the academy.

Lee Taylor, Head Coach of Archery, holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Southern Connecticut State College and is USA Archery Level 2 certified. She competes in local and national archery events and brings a background as an NCAA swimmer and lifelong coach.

Philip Han, Archery Coach, specializes in recurve, traditional, and barebow styles. He's a tournament winner at local, state, and national levels and holds a BS in International Business from Arizona State University.

All instructors are certified by USA Archery and the National Training System.

Class Packages: - Intro to Archery: $225 single session, $350 for 10-pack (3-month expiration) - Competitive/Adult Archery: $250 for 5-pack, $425 for 10-pack (90-min sessions) - Monthly Unlimited: $375/month (unlimited archery + fencing access)

Indoor League Competition: - Youth League: All six sessions $70 or $12 drop-in - Adult League: Same pricing, Vegas-style rules

LionHeart also offers fencing instruction (foil, epee) with coaches including Maestro Stu (UCSD former head coach, British Academy certified) and Franco Cerutti (Olympic Games coaching experience). Medieval sword classes and lightsaber instruction round out the program.
