El Dorado Rod and Gun Club

El Dorado Gun Club is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing safe, quality shooting range access to the community. The club operates multiple specialized ranges and is staffed entirely by volunteer Range Safety Officers who generously donate their time and expertise.

The club maintains three distinct shooting facilities:

• •Rifle Range - Dedicated rifle shooting with professional safety supervision
• •Pistol Range - Handgun shooting range with trained range safety officers
• •Trap Range - Trap shooting facility featuring ammunition sales

El Dorado Gun Club operates on a membership basis. The club offers a seasonal membership special for new members: Join between September 1 and December 31 and receive a membership that extends through December 31, 2026 - effectively providing several months of free membership!

• •Range Hours: Operating hours vary by day. Check the club calendar for specific hours before visiting
• •Law Enforcement Days: The rifle and pistol ranges are reserved for law enforcement on select days (every Tuesday, plus two Wednesdays and two Mondays per month)
• •Firearm Requirements: Members must provide their own firearms and ammunition at the rifle/pistol ranges. Ammunition sales are available only at the trap range
• •No Rentals: The club does not currently offer rental firearms

All ranges are supervised by trained, volunteer Range Safety Officers who ensure a safe shooting environment for all members. Range safety instruction is available for those who need guidance.
