Roaring Fork Valley Sportsmans Association is a Colorado non-profit 501(c)(3) organization operating a shotgun range open to the public on weekends. Located just above Basalt on Kelly Lake Road, adjacent to the Basalt Public Shooting Range, RFVSA focuses on shotgun sports with three distinct disciplines.
You don't need membership to shoot. New members are always welcome.

The RFVSA clubhouse is housed in the original Basalt Public Library building—a piece of local history.
RFVSA also operates adjacent to the Basalt Public Shooting Range, which handles pistols, rifles, and shotguns with different operating hours. The public range is open year-round (closed Wednesdays) with extended summer hours.
Private lessons and group sessions are available through certified operators. Contact RFVSA to reserve a field.
While public shooting is welcome, membership provides ongoing access and community involvement. Applications can be downloaded and mailed with payment, or submitted via email with online PayPal payment.
All shooters must follow the Code of Conduct and range safety rules.
