Established in 1929, Pikes Peak Chapter 34 is one of the largest chapters of the Izaak Walton League. This 147-acre facility has built a reputation for conservation, community support, and hosting serious shooting competitions alongside casual range time.
Shotgun Sports - Open to members and the public: - 14 trap fields - 4 skeet fields (plus conversion field) - Massive sporting and super sporting clays course - International bunker trap field - 5-stand field
Rifle & Pistol - Member access plus RSO-supervised public sessions: - 200-yard rifle range - 100-yard rifle range - 5 standard ranges - 8 special-use ranges
Other: - Modern archery range - Hunting targets - Bullseye shooting - Axe throwing
Rifle and pistol ranges require membership or RSO supervision. Non-members can shoot when Range Safety Officers are on duty—call (719) 683-4420 to check the schedule.
Pikes Peak hosts national and regional shotgun competitions, rifle/pistol tournaments, 4H clinics, Boy Scout instruction, Appleseed events, and corporate team shoots. The facility includes:

Non-members can visit for public shotgun shooting. To access rifle and pistol ranges, you'll need membership or an RSO on duty. The club offers instructor-led courses across all shooting disciplines.
