Their elk hunts consistently produce 300+ Boone & Crockett class bulls. Mule deer hunters regularly encounter animals in the 190-220" range. Whitetail properties on the Kansas border have historically produced bucks over 200" with most in the 130-160" range.
Drop camp is the real deal: you pack in your own gear, hunt for five days, pack out. Jeremy's team supplies the camp and handles logistics.
What's included in camp: - Wall tent with cots, wood stove, cook stove - Full cookware, dishes, utensils, pots, pans - Water filter, five-gallon containers, lights - Game bags, bear bags, first aid kit - Axe, shovel, saw, tarps, flagging tape, paracord - Propane fuel, toilet paper, dish soap
Archery hunters typically hear and see elk daily. Getting a shot depends on your skill level and physical conditioning.
2025 Season Dates: - Archery: Sept 2-30 - Muzzleloader: Sept 10-18 - First Rifle: Oct 15-19
Hunters pack out their own meat (quartering required). If your animal is down after 2 pm, it stays in a tree overnight and gets packed out the next morning. Game must be horse-accessible or packed to a horse-accessible location.
Bring the right arrows for elk. Fixed head broadheads and arrows with 500+ grain total weight. Whitetail arrows won't cut it and lower success rates.
These are self-guided hunts on private ranches. You get the property map, stand locations, and support—but you're hunting on your own schedule.
Black bear can be added to any Southern Colorado deer or elk hunt for no additional outfitting fee. You only pay for the license and a $350 pack fee if successful. Licenses are over-the-counter (OTC) with caps—you need to call Colorado Parks and Wildlife on the date they announce to secure one.
Clients consistently mention Jeremy and his guides' hunting knowledge, work ethic, and scouting. Multiple testimonials praise their ability to locate trophy-class animals.
