Torrington Fish and Game has operated continuously since 1925 as a membership-based sportsmen's club. The club focuses on fish and game conservation, hunter education, and providing shooting sports facilities to Connecticut residents.
This isn't a retail gun shop or public range—it's a members-only club with specific facilities and seasonal activities:
Pheasant Hunting - Stocked preserve hunting during season (October through January) - Members must sign in/out at clubhouse before and after each hunt - Daily bag limits: 2 birds for single membership, 4 for family membership - Season limit: 35 pheasants per member - Landowner properties close to hunting the Saturday after Thanksgiving - Guest hunting permits available (limited to 2 visits per season before Thanksgiving)
Skeet Shooting - Spring hours: Wednesdays 4:00 PM to dark - Summer hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 4:00 PM to dark - Fall hunting season hours: Sundays 8:00 AM to noon - Hours vary—check the website for changes

The club rents their pavilion year-round for private events.
Pavilion Features: - 16 picnic tables - Weather-protective doors that move as needed - 2 indoor bathrooms - Attached commercial kitchen with: - Large prep area with multiple sinks - Large refrigerator/freezer - Two stoves - Griddle - 2 horseshoe pits with shoes - 2 cornhole games - Use of two adjacent fields
