Tallahassee Archery Center teaches beginner archery through the Tallahassee Archery Club, with classes held Saturday mornings. All instruction comes from experienced, certified Level 2 instructors who are club members.
- •Range safety and terminology
- •Shooting posture and stance
- •Basic shooting form
- •Types of archery (tournament vs. recreational)
You'll start with classroom instruction, then move to the range for hands-on practice with actual targets.
$50 per class includes all equipment rental — no need to own a bow or arrows to start.
- •Class size: Limited to 8 participants
- •Location: Tallahassee Archery Club

Beyond classes, Tallahassee Archery Club maintains multiple practice ranges: bag targets at 15-80 yards, FITA competition mats, four 3D ranges, and a new 14-target field range. Monthly 3D trophy shoots run January through August.
