Gateway Rifle & Pistol Club opened in 1965 and remains a cornerstone of Jacksonville's shooting community. It's a member-owned operation with both annual and daily memberships—unlimited range access for members, day passes available for casual shooters.
Pistol ranges accommodate paper targets and steel plates at various distances. Rifle ranges offer shooting positions at 25, 50, 100, and 200 yards. A Range Safety Officer is on duty at all times.
The club hosts monthly matches: - Small bore - Black powder - .22 benchrest - Bullseye pistol - 3x20 prone - NMC - Cowboy
Active junior and women's programs bring new shooters into the sport.
