Founded on principles of fair dealing and transparent pricing, GC Pawn has grown from a single location to 10 stores across Florida in just 17 years.
Pawning is simple: bring in a valuable item, get an immediate cash loan using it as collateral, and retrieve it when you repay the principal plus agreed interest. Here's the process:
1. Bring in your item - Jewelry, firearms, electronics, tools, instruments, vehicles, or other valuables 2. Show valid ID - State or federal picture ID required (driver's license or passport) 3. Agree on loan value - Pawnbrokers assess your item and propose a loan amount for negotiation 4. Sign contract & provide fingerprint - Florida state law requires documentation 5. Receive cash immediately - Get your loan amount on the spot (very large loans may require appointments) 6. Safe storage - Your item is securely packaged and stored for 30 days 7. Repay to retrieve - Pay back principal plus interest within 30 days, or pay interest-only to extend another 30 days
The 30-Day Window: In Florida, pawn loans are valid for 30 days. You can extend indefinitely by paying just the interest—your item stays safely stored until you're ready to retrieve it.
