ITAC Firearms Training

ITAC Firearms Training offers structured progression courses designed to build genuine defensive competency. Instruction starts with fundamentals and advances to tactical applications for serious students.

Introductory course covering Florida Firearms Law, safety, marksmanship basics, combat stance, weapon presentation, and grip. Includes awareness training for real-world threat identification. This is a certificate course that satisfies Florida's requirement for a Concealed Carry License. No prerequisites—students just need to show up.

Builds on Level I fundamentals with advanced grip/stance, emergency reloads, malfunction drills, scanning, flash-sight-picture, point shooting, and drawing from holster. Master instructor Russell Ricalde emphasizes controlled speed and confidence development. Students practice engaging multiple targets and learn cover/concealment tactics.

Equipment required: GLOCK or similar pistol, 2+ magazines, magazine pouches, sturdy belt holster, 200+ rounds ammunition (not provided). Range fees, targets, and safety gear included.

Advanced one-day course limited to 12 students. Covers shooting while moving, advanced cover/concealment use, one-handed reloading, multiple-target engagement, stress management, basic room entry/clearing, and speed shooting. Designed for students with solid weapon handling fundamentals and tactical mindset.

Requirements: 400+ rounds, 3+ magazines, eye/ear protection, sturdy holster/belt, hat with rim. Registration requires prior training history. Law enforcement and military may wear duty gear.
