Lee County Archers

Lee County Archers operates a 28-target field archery range at Nalle Grade County Park in southwest Florida. The facility spans a large leased section of the county park and includes:

• •28-target field archery course
• •40 lanes with earthen berms for 3D competitions
• •Lighted 20-yard practice range
• •Lighted 30-70-yard sight-in range

Known as one of "The best facilities in the state," the range is archer-friendly with very few lost arrows.

The range is open to members 7 days a week. Non-members can visit and try the sport on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. First-time visitors need to call for the gate code: Bob Nichols (207-632-2322) or Ben Brown (239-826-2017).

All events are open to the public for a nominal fee.

Annual membership runs August 1 to July 31 at $120/year. Members get the access code and can use the range anytime. The club has NFAA and NAA certified instructors plus experts in every archery discipline—longbow, compound, freestyle.

New members can join during public hours with a completed membership form and payment. Beginners should talk to instructors before buying gear. The club sees the same mistakes repeatedly: wrong equipment purchases leading to frustration and dropoff.

Lee County Archers is a Florida non-profit corporation. Their mission: support NFAA and FAA membership, conduct FAA-sanctioned competitions, offer instruction to all archers, and provide a social forum for the sport. They maintain strong community involvement—recent facility improvements came from member volunteer efforts.
