Full description and what we offer
Orlando Cerakote applies ceramic-based protective coatings to firearms and accessories in Kissimmee, Florida. They use Nic Industries Cerakote exclusively—a thin, durable finish that protects against rust, oxidation, corrosion, scratches, and scrapes while maintaining a self-lubricating surface between cleanings.
The coating is applied at 1-2 millimeters thickness and won't affect firearm function in most cases. All standard pistol and rifle cleaners are safe to use on Cerakote finishes. The real appeal: a vast color selection with endless customization possibilities.
Serialized parts (frames, receivers) require the owner to be present during coating—ATF compliance while they work toward their FFL. Same-day service keeps costs lower than competitors, and no shipping or transfer fees.
Non-serialized parts (slides, stocks, fore grips, magazines, accessories) can be left on-site and completed without the owner present.
All appointments must be scheduled via email—walk-ins are strongly discouraged. This one-on-one model keeps their operation efficient.

Bring your firearm completely disassembled—they don't have a full-time gunsmith on staff, so pre-disassembly keeps costs down for you.
Tight-tolerance firearms like 1911s may need minor smoothing after coating to re-mate slide and frame. Any competent gunsmith can handle this.
Camouflage patterns aren't offered yet—they're labor-intensive and not cost-effective at their current scale, but this may change as they grow.
