GOROCK Events runs firearms training grounded in military and special operations experience. Their instructors aren't range officers—they're former operators with real-world combat deployments and tactical expertise.

The Basic Pistol course ($375) is built for shooters at any level. No minimum firearms experience required. The course focuses on marksmanship and safety with scenario-based training that mimics high-stress situations.

How it works: - Starts with dry fire and safety fundamentals - Uses inert weapons (barrel plugs) for scenario drills before live fire - Incorporates physical stressors (sprints, burpees, pushups) to elevate heart rate and simulate stress responses - Live fire follows only after demonstrating proficiency in dry practice

Chuy brings 27 years of military service with 23+ years in special operations forces (SOF). His background includes:

• •Multiple operational deployments across South America, Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia
• •Counter Terrorism (CT) and Counterinsurgency (COIN) operations
• •Three tours on Underwater Special Forces Operational Detachment-Alphas (SFOD-A)
• •Current role as senior leader at the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS), training Green Berets
