SAFE International operates as Tampa Bay's firearm and personal defense training operation, built on the credentials of lead instructor Will Jarvis. Jarvis brings 8 years of U.S. Marine Corps service (Force Reconnaissance, Third Force Reconnaissance Company) and 26+ years as a Florida state law enforcement officer—including roles as field training officer, SWAT team member, police sniper, and lead firearms instructor.

Jarvis holds certifications as: - Multi-discipline National Rifle Association instructor - TASER instructor - Defensive tactics instructor - Israeli Instinctive Shooting instructor - Certified Glock, Remington, and Sig Sauer armorer - Less lethal munitions instructor - Reality Based Training instructor - CMS Firearms instructor and facilitator

He's also a certified Florida firearms instructor and currently serves as regional training coordinator for his agency.

FL Concealed Weapon or Firearm License Basic Course — Meets Florida training requirements for CCW permits. NRA materials included.

Basic Pistol (10 hours, $100) - Covers revolvers and semi-automatics, ammunition knowledge, fundamentals, one and two-handed positions, pistol sports - 50 rounds course of fire - Pistol rentals available; ammunition available for purchase - Meets Florida CCW requirement

Basic Rifle (14 hours, $100) - Rifle knowledge, safe handling, ammunition fundamentals, firing positions (standing, kneeling, prone), rifle sports - 50 rounds course of fire - NRA materials included; ammunition available for purchase - Students encouraged to bring personal firearm

FL Class G Armed Security Re-qualification — Maintains armed security certifications

Refuse to be a Victim (4 hours, $50) - Covers home, auto, physical, internet, fraud, travel, and personal security - Awareness and alertness training to avoid criminal attack - Information on pepper spray, mace, stun guns, home alarms, security lighting, carjacking prevention - No firearm training in this course - No prerequisites - Group discounts available
