The owner wasn't always a trainer. In 2007 he had a CCW license but couldn't safely draw from a holster. That changed when he took his first real course in 2015 with Jorge Mercano, a Marine and Army shooting instructor. Since then, he's completed 30+ courses across different disciplines—and it shows in how he teaches.

That philosophy runs through every course. Small class sizes mean students get attention, not factory-line processing.

• •Pistol Fundamentals ($130, 3 hrs) — Comprehensive beginner course that actually teaches shooting, not just CCW paperwork. Covers safe handling, shooting mechanics, and storage. Requires 200+ rounds and your own firearm.

• •Home Defense ($170, 4 hrs) — Defensive mindset, firearm selection, home safety strategies, basic defensive pistol skills. 300+ rounds required.

• •Defensive Pistol Fundamentals I–IV ($160 each, 4 hrs) — Progressive ladder starting after you get your permit:
• •Level I: Pistol presentation, magazine changes, defensive situations
• •Level II: Multiple threats, moving and shooting, cover usage (500+ rounds)
• •Level III: One-handed shooting, strong and weak hand (500+ rounds)
• •Level IV: One-handed movement and shooting, advanced skills (500+ rounds)

• •Zeroing Your Rifle ($120, 2 hrs) — Master the fundamentals of zeroing for scopes, red dots, and irons. Covers NBP (Natural Body Position) and distance theory. 100+ rounds required.

• •Rifle Fundamentals ($170, 4 hrs) — Safe handling and shooting mechanics for semi-auto platforms. Beginners welcome. 200+ rounds required.

Defensive courses require proof of basic pistol competency—either Tampa Firearm Solutions' Intro course, NRA Basic Pistol, or equivalent from an accredited instructor. That $45 one-round-in-the-dirt course doesn't count.
