Kenneth Mimms purchased Second Amendment Outfitters in July 2015 and renamed it Second Amendment Guns and Range. Ken spent 22 honorable years as a Navy submariner before retiring in 2005. His personal collection includes an H&K G36, Springfield Armory M1A SOCOM, and two 1903 Pocket Hammerless Colts—so you're shooting with someone who actually knows firearms.

Second Amendment operates a state-of-the-art indoor facility with:

All classes are first come, first served and must be scheduled in advance by calling ahead.

• •Cost: $100 per student (includes everything)
• •Schedule: Tuesday-Friday at 11:00 AM or 3:00 PM
• •Duration: 2.5 hours
• •What you get: Fundamentals from A to Z in a comfortable, relaxed environment before your first range session

• •Who: All shooters (military/retired LEO still welcome)
• •Cost: $55 per student (includes everything)
• •Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM (call to reserve)
• •What you get: Knowledge, training certificate, and law theory on firearms and their legal use

• •Who: Beginner to intermediate shooters
• •Cost: $60 per hour, per student
• •When: By appointment only
• •What you get: Personalized instruction on marksmanship fundamentals and firearm safety

• •Ammunition Standards: Factory ammo only in unopened packaging. No steel-cased, aluminum-cased, armor-piercing, incendiary, tracer, or experimental rounds. No hand-loads.

What's NOT Allowed: - Loaded weapons outside the shooting stall - Drawing from holster or "transition drills" - Multiple shooters per lane without staff permission - Alcohol or drugs before/while shooting - Leaving firearms unattended (except for jam/misfire assistance)

Second Amendment is a licensed FFL Type 1 retail dealer with Class III SOT designation. They handle transfers and can process suppressors and other regulated items. Frequented by shooters from St. Augustine to Savannah.
