Full description and what we offer
Atlanta Archery Club started as a passion project over 40 years ago. Head Coach Yale began shooting recreationally, then started instructing at summer camps, and what began as a backyard archery program grew into a full club with over 200 active members and a 28-lane archery facility in Dunwoody.
They run three main pathways for archers:
"A warrior's true strength lies in their determination to navigate life peacefully."
The club frames archery as a path to personal empowerment and confidence. Coach Yale's approach: archery develops the mindset of a "peaceful warrior"—someone empowered and capable of achieving their goals.
With over 200 active members, the club emphasizes connection. Regular events, tournaments, and social gatherings keep the community engaged. If you're looking for structured coaching, a facility to shoot regularly, or events to bring friends and family into the sport, they've built the infrastructure for it.
New to archery? Start with their trial program—no membership commitment required. You'll learn safety and basics from certified instructors before deciding to join.
