Griffin Gun Club

Griffin Gun Club is a premier 50-year-old shooting sports facility located on 85 acres in Spalding County, Georgia. Dedicated to providing exceptional shooting opportunities for members and their families, the club offers comprehensive facilities for clay target, rifle, and pistol shooting disciplines.

The club boasts an impressive range of specialized shooting venues:

• •Clay Target Sports: Four skeet fields, two trap fields, and a 5-Stand sporting clays range—all lighted for evening shoots
• •Rifle Ranges: 100-yard rifle range (targets at 50 and 100 yards) and dedicated 50-yard rimfire range
• •Pistol Bays: Three pistol bays plus a 50-yard bay accommodating both rifle and pistol shooting
• •Clubhouse: Spacious facility with professional kitchen, seating for up to 75 people for meetings and dining events

• •Clay Target Programs: Five area youth shotgun teams and two 4-H Club teams train at Griffin Gun Club. The facility hosts three skeet tournaments annually, multiple registered trap shoots, periodic 10-week social trap leagues, and maintains a shotgun patterning board for turkey hunters.

• •Rifle Programs: The 100-yard range hosts benchrest competitions, WWI and WWII military rifle shoots, and seasonal sight-in opportunities before deer season. The Griffin Long Rifles group conducts monthly black powder shoots featuring muzzle-loaders.

• •Pistol Programs: Members enjoy centerfire and rimfire target shooting on paper and steel targets, with regularly scheduled action-pistol scenarios and cowboy fun shoots.

Members and their families have daily access to facilities from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM. Future expansion plans include two additional trap fields and another pistol bay to accommodate growing membership.
