Caldwell Gun Club

Caldwell Gun Club operates as a volunteer-run shooting facility dedicated exclusively to shotgun sports. Located at 21840 Pond Lane in Caldwell, Idaho, the range serves the greater Treasure Valley including Nampa and Boise shooters.

The club specializes in three shotgun disciplines:

• •Trap - Classic clay target shooting from fixed shooting stations
• •5-Stand - Varied shooting positions and angles mimicking hunting scenarios
• •Sporting Clays - Dynamic course with multiple stations and target presentations

Winter Schedule: - Wednesday & Thursday: 9am – 5pm - Saturday & Sunday: 9am – 5pm

Shotgun ammunition specifications are strictly enforced:

No exceptions for meat shoots or special events.

Mandatory: - Ear and eye protection required at all times - Treat every firearm as if it's loaded - Always point barrel in safe direction - Shotguns loaded only while IN a shooting station—never walking with loaded gun - Actions must be open except when actively shooting - Single shell for singles and handicap; two shells for doubles, 5-stand, and sporting clays - Fire from shoulder only - No alcohol or drugs before or during shooting

Range Rules: - Shotguns only—no rifles, no handguns - Shoot only at authorized targets - No hunting permitted - Do not pick up hulls from trap line while shooting (they become club property) - Authorized personnel only downrange - No speeding on ATVs on the course

The range is open to the public. Memberships are available for purchase and offer regular shooting opportunities. The club actively seeks interested shooters who want to get involved—they operate entirely on volunteer labor, so experienced shooters looking to contribute are encouraged to reach out.
