Richmond Archery Club operates the newest and largest indoor archery range in Richmond, located at 120-6011 Westminster Highway—directly across from Richmond Oval. The facility accommodates up to 70 people with 24 archers shooting simultaneously at 18-meter distances.
The range welcomes: - Recurve bows and longbows up to 45 lbs - Compound bows up to 60 lbs - Both your own equipment and rentals
Archers with personal gear can use the full 18-meter range. Equipment rental is available for newcomers.
Introduction to Recurve Archery - One-hour session: $35 per person - Includes safety training, hands-on shooting instruction, equipment rental - Valid one-year membership upon completion - Ages 10 and up - Online booking required (no walk-ins)
Youth Archery Program (Ages 8-20) - Ongoing competition program with USA Archery Level 4 NTS (National Training System) certified coaches - Teaches mental fitness: focus, confidence, emotional control, discipline, stress management - Physical training: endurance, power, strength, technical form, shooting drills - Indoor (18m) and outdoor (20m+) shooting - 4-month program: $635 + tax for 16 sessions (1.5 hours each) - Class schedule: Tuesday 5-6:30pm (Beginner), Thursday 4-5:30pm (Beginner), Saturday 9:15-10:45am (Beginner) & 11am-12:30pm (Intermediate), Sunday 1:30-3pm (Beginner)
Adult Recurve Workshop - For archers who've completed intro class - Extra training for skill development
Family Archery Sessions - $70 for 2 people (1 adult + 1 child, ages 8+) - 1-hour session with safety instruction, hands-on shooting, equipment rental - Scheduled dates: July 27 & Aug 9, 2025
Open Shoot Sessions (Members Only) - $25 per hour including rentals - Available for members with valid one-year membership
Richmond Archery's youth team competes extensively in: - BC Provincial Championships - BC Winter Games - Canada Winter Games - Archery Canada Indoor Mailmatch - JOP (Junior Olympian Program) competitions
2024-2025 Results: 19 medals at BC Provincial Indoor Championships (6 Gold, 8 Silver, 5 Bronze)
Our coaching philosophy is to provide a fun and safe archery experience for youth archers from beginner to advanced levels, while developing confidence, discipline, and the ability to compete.
One-year membership ($35) available to: - Anyone who completes the Introduction to Recurve Archery session - Experienced archers certified by instructors or range officers
Members enjoy access to open shoot sessions at $25/hour (includes equipment rental).
Richmond Archery Club's mission is to teach members to become knowledgeable, safe, and skilled in archery while contributing to personal growth—whether you're discovering archery for the first time or training for provincial and national competition.
