Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation offers structured archery instruction designed for beginners ages 9-15. The program runs four separate sessions beginning April 1st, 2026, giving kids multiple entry points throughout the spring.
Each 45-minute class covers the fundamentals:
Beginners work exclusively with recurve bows under the supervision of experienced archery instructors. The program emphasizes hands-on experience—kids get actual time with bow and arrow, not just theory.
