Sugar Creek Sporting Clays & Hunting Preserve is a premier 700-acre shooting preserve located in Mitchell, Indiana, owned and operated by Brian and Andrea Waldbieser. Founded in June 1990 and now in its third decade of operation, Sugar Creek has established itself as a premier destination for clay target shooters and upland bird hunters across the region.

The preserve offers a comprehensive range of shooting disciplines:

• •5 Stand Shooting - 25-target courses for varied clay presentations
• •Trap & Skeet - 25-target rounds for traditional clay shooting
• •Tower Shoots - Dynamic driven bird simulations (up to 20 hunters)
• •Competitive Tournaments - Hosts the Indiana Sporting Clays Championship

Sugar Creek specializes in authentic upland bird hunting experiences:

• •European Pheasant Hunts - Guided or unguided with choice of 4 pheasants per hunter
• •Chukar Hunting - 6 birds per hunter
• •Quail Hunting - 10 birds per hunter (unguided hunts only)
• •Guided Hunts - Professional guides available (limit 4 hunters per guide)
• •Dogs Welcome - Hunters may bring their own pointers and retrievers

The expansive 700-acre property accommodates groups of all sizes, from individual shooters to corporate outings and competitive events. Golf cart rentals are available for navigating the grounds. The preserve maintains professional-grade clay target courses and hunting grounds suitable for both novice and experienced sportsmen.

Regular business hours are Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday access is available by appointment. The facility is located at 2191 Bono Road, Mitchell, IN 47446.
