2nd Amendment Co. has been building custom AKs and providing gunsmithing services in Cedar Rapids since 2012. As the area's only 07/02 manufacturer, they've completed over 400 AK builds with a loyal customer base that keeps coming back.
- •AK Builds: Full custom builds starting at $1,400. Labor-only builds of your kit for $500.
- •General Gunsmithing: From cleaning to custom parts fabrication
- •Muzzle Threading: $55–$205 depending on specifications
- •Sight Installation & Laser Sight: $35 for most pistol sights
Owner Dave Ruble specializes in AK design but handles a full spectrum of gunsmithing work. Some projects go to specialists, but most stay in-house.
