Gun Doc is a retired U.S. Navy Corpsman with two decades of service, including combat deployments with Marine and Naval units. That background shows in his work—the same attention to detail he gave Sailors and Marines goes into every firearm that comes through his shop.
Maintenance & Cleaning - Handgun service: $45 (complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, reassembly, function check) - Rifle service: $50 (bolt action, AR-15, PCC) - Shotgun service: $50 (auto/inertia driven, seized choke removal available)
Custom Work & Modifications - AR-15 builds and rifle modifications (start at $150) - Barrel threading - Shotgun choke threading - Optic cuts - Trigger jobs and installs
Finishing & Restoration - Cerakote (C & H-series) - Rust bluing, Parkerizing, plating (Nickel & Chrome) - Full metal refinishing and rust removal - Stock restoration - Custom finishes require consultation for cure times
Optics & Accuracy Work - Optic and scope mounting with bore sighting: $60 - Zeroing services (additional cost, includes ammo and range fees) - Handgun sights and shotgun bead sight installation - Full accurizing package: $300 (glass bedding, bolt lug/barrel lapping, free floating, trigger adjustment, scope ring mounting)
Transfers & Dealer Services - Standard transfers: $30 - Multiple handgun transfers: additional $20 per gun - NFA transfers from non-Silencershop dealers: $50 - Active/Reserve Military, Veterans, and First Responders: first transfer free (with proof)
Gun Doc also orders new and used firearms and bulk ammunition at competitive pricing. Carries Black Rain Ordnance, Aero Precision, Superlative Arms, Geissele, Rise Armament, VG6, PSA, Timber Creek Outdoors, DPMS, and more.
