Caldwell County Sportsman Club operates Jones-Keeney WMA Range as a no-cost resource for shooters of all skill levels. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit is laser-focused on keeping this range open and accessible—they've explicitly stated they oppose turning it into a private or pay-to-use facility.
The range currently hosts scheduled events for:
All events are open to the public. The club also hosts free community shoots—check their Facebook for the schedule. A free 3D archery shoot is scheduled for June 1, 2025.

KDFWR is planning an Overhead Baffle System to make the range fully functional again. Latest estimate: $1.25 million. The club is fundraising to cover the state's matching portion and working with local government on a path forward.
CCSC gives back through:
"People need a place to shoot their firearms and archery. This is free and safe." - CCSC leadership
Watch local radio and their Facebook page for event schedules. All club events require NRA-certified RSOs and advance registration. Questions about upcoming shoots? Contact President Adam Cruzen at (270) 963-1738 or [email protected].
