Frontier Defense founder Paul Flory is a volunteer instructor for National Train A Teacher Day, part of a nationwide movement to train educators and youth leaders in firearm safety and defensive response following school security concerns. The approach emphasizes responsible gun ownership, legal knowledge, situational awareness, and the physiological and legal aftermath of violent encounters.
Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense, covering conflict avoidance, situational awareness, home security, handgun/shotgun/AR-15 basics, shooting fundamentals, the physiology of violent encounters, legal aspects of deadly force, and gear selection.
The instruction focuses on practical defensive skills, not competition shooting. Courses are structured for progression—Pistol 1 leads to Pistol 2, and Rifle 1 prepares you for Rifle 2, with more specialty courses available after.
