Bayou Bounty Hunter's

Bayou Bounty Hunters is a SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) affiliated club that hosts bi-monthly cowboy action shooting matches at Florida Parishes Skeet and Gun Club in Amite, Louisiana.

• •Shoot dates: 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month
• •Registration: 8:00 AM
• •Match start: 9:00 AM
• •Location: 61282 VFW Rd., Amite, LA
• •Five stages featuring Old West scenarios with a recreated cowboy town
• •Each stage uses two pistols, a rifle, and a shotgun with real ammunition

Safety is the #1 priority—bring eye and ear protection.

Non-member match fees: $15 individual / $30 family maximum

Juniors (age 16 and under) shoot free when accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.

The club accommodates multiple shooting styles and age groups:

• •Junior, Lady, and Senior categories
• •Traditional, Duelist, Classic Cowboy, Gunfighter, and Black Powder divisions
• •Wild Bunch category offered on 2nd Saturday matches during January, April, July, and October
• •Long-range rifle events on 5th Saturdays (when applicable)

• •Guns: Pre-1897 firearms or historically accurate reproductions only

• •Dress Code: Old West style clothing required for competition

• •New Shooters: A Safety Orientation class is required before your first match. Schedule one by contacting the club.

• •Spectators: Always welcome—no experience necessary to watch and learn.
