Full description and what we offer
Pleasant River Fish & Game Conservation Association is an all-volunteer operation serving shooters, archers, and outdoors enthusiasts across Downeast Maine. Located in Columbia, the club runs member events throughout the year and maintains an active shooting range.
The 21st Annual Frozen Mosin (mid-winter) is billed as "the most unusual shooting event in the Northeast"
They also host the Puckerbrush Primitive Gathering (July)—a family-oriented celebration mixing traditional archery, bushcraft, and ancestral skills.
Club membership gives year-round access to facilities and events. Since it's volunteer-run, they actively recruit both donations and volunteer hours—your time directly supports operations and community projects.
All-volunteer means lean operations—but also means every member's contribution matters directly.
