Big Pine Gun Club

Big Pine Gun Club started in 1978 after a friendly shooting challenge between a few local shooters. It's grown into Piscataquis County's only active gun club, serving roughly 50 active members with facilities that cover serious ground:

• •50-foot indoor pistol range (9 stations)
• •100-foot outdoor youth .22 rifle range (6 stations, rimfire only)
• •100-yard outdoor rifle and pistol range (5 stations)
• •400-yard outdoor rifle and pistol range (8 stations)
• •Outdoor action pistol range
• •Cowboy action shooting range
• •Shotgun range with automated skeet, trap, and 8-stand sporting clays (7 traps)

• •Membership: $95/year includes your spouse and dependents for 12 months.

Members can bring guests to the ranges. You're responsible for explaining range rules and ensuring guests follow them. The club enforces strict safety protocols—lock the gate if you're the last one leaving.

The club runs courses, classes, sighting-in days, and shooting competitions throughout the year. All event details are posted on their NRA webpage and schedule page. They also offer NRA and SAM courses for members.
