South Berwick Rod & Gun Association (SBRGA) is a Maine non-profit organization operating a multi-range shooting facility that serves competitive shooters, hunters, and recreational shooters across York County.
The club maintains two dedicated trap fields for singles and doubles competition. The singles field runs three days per week:
The doubles field is open during Sunday trap hours. A round of trap singles (25 clay birds) costs $4-$5 per round. Doubles cost $8-$10 per round. Trap shooting is available to members and their guests.

In the back of the pistol range, the club operates a Falling Plates steel target system for supervised events. Currently, they allow handgun calibers up to 9mm. Most shooters use either .22LR or 9mm. You'll need two magazines loaded with 6 rounds per turn and a case for your handgun. All members are encouraged to participate in this activity.
ATA Shoots (American Trapshooting Association) The club hosts registered ATA trap events throughout the year. These are full-day competitions using both trap ranges. Registration typically begins at 8 AM with shooting starting at 9 AM promptly.
30 Guns in 30 Days Raffle SBRGA's largest fundraiser runs annually. Ticket sales open June 1st and run through September 30th at $30 per ticket. Weekly drawings take place throughout October. Winners receive new, factory-made standard firearms, and each entry is eligible to be drawn multiple times, allowing winners to win more than once. Traditional Hunter Safety Classes The club hosts Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (MDIFW) certified traditional firearms hunter safety courses. Classes are open to all ages (under 16 requires parent/guardian permission). Course typically runs two sessions: - First session: Evening class (6 PM to 9 PM) - Second session and test: Saturday morning (8:30 AM to 12:30 PM)
Registration happens through the MDIFW website.
The club accepts memberships and handles qualifications for law enforcement agencies (South Berwick Police Department qualifications are held at the facility). Regular range access requires membership.
