Full description and what we offer
Double A Consultants provides firearms consulting and training across Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia. Owner Jack Fleming is an NRA-certified instructor and Army paratrooper with combat experience—the kind of background that shows up in how classes are structured and taught.
They've built flexibility into their program because not every shooter learns the same way:
- •One-on-one consulting (2, 4, 6, or 8 hours): Intense, focused instruction on anything from basic cleaning and maintenance to advanced weapon systems. Conducted in-home, in-person, or at a range.
- •Classroom + live range (8-hour days): Limited to 10 students. Covers HQL, CCW permits, handgun fundamentals, AR-15 clinics, marksmanship, long-range precision rifle, and active shooter scenarios.
- •Location-based training (4-8 hours minimum): Tailored to your specific situation—home invasion defense, carjacking response, combat self-defense. No two classes are identical because threats aren't generic.
| Training Type | Details |
|---|---|
| Permits & Licensing | Maryland HQL, Maryland CCW, Virginia CCW |
| Firearms Fundamentals | Cleaning, maintenance, selection guidance |
| Precision Shooting | Marksmanship, long-range rifle training, AR-15 clinic |

Classes are appointment-only. Contact Jack Fleming at 240-855-4541 or [email protected] to schedule.
Based in Rockville, MD and traveling to ranges and locations throughout the tri-state area, they keep class sizes small (max 10 for group instruction) so students get real attention. Whether you're a complete beginner or highly experienced, they'll meet you where you are.
