Guns Maryland Classifieds was created to fill a gap. eBay banned firearm ads years ago. Craigslist never allowed them. Facebook recently shut down personal weapons sales. Meanwhile, other local gun sites stuck people with outdated software and forced them to pay just to post.
This platform exists because Maryland's firearms community deserves better—and shouldn't have to pay for it.
This is peer-to-peer sales. You're not buying from Guns Maryland directly. Instead, individual sellers post their own items and buyers contact them. The platform handles the listing, organization, and search.

Only outdoor and firearms-related items allowed. Everything must be legal.
Listings available across Maryland including Baltimore, Annapolis, Frederick, Rockville, Silver Spring, Bowie, Salisbury, Towson, Hagerstown, and 30+ other cities. Out-of-state shipping available for eligible items (shipped to your local FFL for inspection before payment).
Posting an ad costs nothing. Period. The platform never charges to list.
Optional paid features help ads stand out: - Featured placement - Move to top (bumping) - Bold title - Special highlighting
These features keep the site running but are never required.
All ads stay active for 90 days. Every 7 days you can renew (bump) your ad back to the top with one click from your account. Paid promotions last 30 days and need renewal if you want them extended.
Building trust matters. Sellers can earn a "Verified Seller" badge by: - Having successful buyers email proof of great transactions - Maintaining a clean account history (no abuse reports) for an extended period - Using verified billing information with paid ad features
Scam Prevention: Always meet in person at a safe public location (preferably at an FFL for background check). Never send deposits via crypto, Venmo, or wire transfer. If shipping, require the seller to ship to a reputable local FFL for inspection before you pay.
