KR Defense Firearms Training

KR Defense handles the state-required training courses that actually matter. Kamil teaches Maryland HQL (Handgun Qualification License) courses, NRA Basics of Pistol, and Maryland Wear and Carry Permit training—the certifications you need to legally purchase and carry a handgun in Maryland.

Maryland HQL Course (Pistol Permit) - 4-hour class satisfying Maryland's handgun purchase requirement - Cost: $100 per person (group discounts available) - Currently scheduled at The Machine Gun Nest in Frederick, MD - Private classes available by appointment, evenings/weekends (4-person minimum, limited to 40 miles from Frederick)

NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting - Meets concealed carry requirements for Florida, Virginia, and other states - Covers firearm operation, safety, maintenance, and marksmanship in more depth than the HQL - $150 per person (group discounts available) - Includes Maryland Law module for dual certification at no extra charge

Maryland Wear and Carry Permit Course - 16-hour comprehensive training for Maryland's carry permit - Topics include detailed cleaning/maintenance, draw and fire techniques, and USPSA competition coaching - Flexible scheduling across multiple days at your pace - Starting at $350 (customized based on your needs)

$65/hour for one-on-one coaching on handguns, shotguns, or rifles. Range fees, targets, and eye/ear protection included. Option to use Kamil's firearms for an additional $10/hour plus ammunition cost.

Transition from classroom to sport shooting. USPSA matches offer practical experience in a safe environment—not just for experts, but for anyone building confidence with their firearm.
