Meade Rod and Gun Club

Meade Rod and Gun Club (MRGC) was founded on a straightforward mission: promote education and safety in firearms, hunting, and fishing while building enthusiasm for these sports. What sets them apart is legitimate—they're one of very few public organizations with regular access to the shooting ranges at Fort Meade.

• •Monthly Range Shoots - Regular competitions and general shooting events
• •Firearms Training - MD Wear and Carry courses, advanced conceal carry instruction with scenario-based training and trauma wound treatment, youth basic rifle and firearm safety courses
• •Fishing Programs - Spring and fall fishing rodeos, charter trips (at least two per year)
• •Competitive Events - M1 Garand matches, bowling pin matches, and other specialty competitions
• •Youth Development - Junior Shooting Program designed to teach safe firearm handling to young members
• •Community Events - Annual wild game feast honoring veterans, military, civilians, and families

• •Monthly General Meetings: First Thursday of every month at Perry's Restaurant, 1210 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD 21113. Dinner at 6pm, meeting at 7pm.
